Ms. Pirah Siyal is a climate change activist working with the Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department of the Government of Sindh, Pakistan. She is a published author with over 14 research articles and blogs on environment, climate change, and water issues.

Pirah has been a speaker at over 100 national and international events, actively raising awareness about climate education, youth empowerment, and women’s leadership in environmental action. She serves as the liaison of Andean Road Countries for Science and Technology (ARCST) to Pakistan. She was invited to co-organize the World Green Science Day with ARSCT and the International Green Science Center for Latin America and the Caribbean (IGSCLAC). Pirah has represented youth and Pakistan at various United Nations conferences on climate change and environmental governance, contributing to global dialogues and policy discussions. She is also leading positive actions in Pakistan through her initiative, Root to Rise (Asal se Urooj), which empowers youth and communities to take action on environmental sustainability and climate change.
