About Adamu Wahab

He is a dedicated professional with a robust background spanning education, engineering, construction, and technology. A licensed professional teacher at Enyan Denkyira Senior High Technical School, with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and an active member of the Ghana Institute of Construction (GIOC) and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), he is deeply committed to both teaching and lifelong learning.

His professional experience is both broad and deep, with extensive teaching in critical subjects such as building construction, technical drawing, design and communication technology, mathematics, and computer-aided design (CAD). Beyond the classroom, Adamu is an active contributor to the global academic community, serving as a reviewer for several prestigious international journals, including the Journal of Circular Economy and Sustainability (Springer), the Journal of Building Materials and Structures (JBMS), the Journal of Engineering Research and Reviews (JERR), and the Journal of Engineering and Technology (JET).

Adamu’s research interests are at the forefront of modern construction challenges and opportunities. They include:

He possesses advanced knowledge in the characterisation and repurposing of waste materials for sustainable construction and engineering applications, focusing on materials such as ash, fibre-reinforced concrete, mortar, laterite, and composite materials. His impactful research has been published in high-impact (Q1) journals, such as Circular Economy and Sustainability (Springer), contributing significantly to the fields of environmental resilience, the circular economy, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
