The Andean Road Countries for Science and Technology (ARCST) envisions a vibrant, united Latin America where science, technology, and innovation serve as engines of sustainable development, social equity, and cultural resilience. We see a future where the scientific potential of Andean and Latin American countries is fully harnessed, bridging ancestral wisdom with cutting-edge technologies, and elevating the region as a global leader in green science, climate action, and knowledge-based cooperation. ARCST actively promotes the Science Culture Construction as the new paradigm of collaboration and green development.
We believe that by fostering deep international partnerships and empowering our local scientific communities, we can transform Latin America into a model of inclusive, responsible, and visionary scientific development.
Mission
Our mission is to build a collaborative and interdisciplinary platform that connects universities, research institutions, policy makers, innovators, and civil society across Latin America and beyond. Through this alliance, ARCST works to:

Strengthen science and climate literacy through education, public engagement, and multilingual knowledge dissemination.

Promote sustainable and inclusive innovation by integrating modern science with local and indigenous knowledge systems.

Facilitate international collaboration between Latin America and global partners—particularly in Asia, Africa, and other Global South regions—through joint research, technology development, and innovation centers.
